• Was part of the Transaction Advisory team in the procurement, negotiation and engagement of a long-term Operation and Maintenance (O&M) foreign company for the Mombasa–Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway.
• Appointed as Adjudicator in World Bank funded infrastructure projects implemented by the County Government of Nyeri with project value over KES 25 Billion.
• Represented investor developers in a claim of Kshs. 5.6 Billion arising from an affordable housing project on a public private partnership basis.
• Acted for the sponsors in the development and structuring of a 40 Megawatt Solar Power Plant in Naivasha, including negotiation of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Government of Kenya and EPC Agreements with equipment suppliers.
• Acted as Counsel in an international arbitration relating to a cross-border acquisition of a leading Oil Marketing Company with presence in Kenya, Tanzania and Burundi, involving a claim in excess of USD 30 Million.
• Acted for Kenya Pipeline Company Limited in an arbitration dispute against Topaz Petroleum Limited relating to storage and transportation of oil products, defending a claim in excess of KES 300 Million.
• Led the acquisition by InvestAfrica-FZCO of 73,425,029 ordinary shares (35% stake) in Eveready East Africa PLC, obtaining CMA exemption from Take-over Regulations and CAK no-objection.
• Successfully defended a State Department in a landmark Constitutional Petition in the High Court against conservatory orders sought by civil society actors over the implementation of the Maisha Number Flagship Project.
• Led the implementation of a complex trade and climate change project spanning multiple countries across West Africa, South Africa and East Africa for ClimateWorks Foundation.
